Why become a Student Rep?
Do you feel strongly about your education?
Do you want to have an active voice about your College?
Do you want to take responsibility to get the best education you can for you and your Peer?
Do you want you CV to stand out from the rest?
Do you want to be part of the Learner Voice at Stratford upon Avon College?
What is the role of the Student Rep?
Your role is to provide the College with feedback from a student’s point of view.
You will assist in running the Student Surgery every month where you talk to students about their courses and College life, run survey and questionnaires, attend the Learner Conference and Principal’s Question Time.
You will also be responsible to feeding the information from the Learner Conference, Principal’s Question Time and Student Surgery back to your class.
How does this happen?
You can be elected as your Class Representative (aka Student Rep!) in your tutorial. This takes place in September and October.
You can put yourself forward to be nominated in your tutorial. All you need to do is fill out the form and state three reasons why you’d make a good student rep.
Your class will decided who they’d like to represent them for the coming year.
What do you get from it?
An addition to your CV that makes it stand out.
